“Most people come to Paris to fall in Love” – Carrie Bradshaw
Paris is one of the most romantic places in the world, a city where most souls go to fall in love. This shoot was inspired by just that – romance, love and hope. This year has proven that no matter what, love will always prevail. Beginning early this year we have helped our couples pivot their wedding plans, proving that intimate gatherings are uber special. Our couples were incredibly positive and realized during the re-planning process how beautiful having just their nearest and dearest with them.
What’s really amazing with smaller gatherings is you can focus on the experience of a smaller guest count and really go all out with the little detail and the overall design. Our colour palette incorporated rich navy colour, sandstone, ivory and touches of auburn shades. The invitation suite by Olumis Calligraphy was exquisite, with navy and gold and the prettiest cursive writing. It is a great visual introduction to what the rest of the wedding is going to look like. With the tablescape we had a rich velvet linen from Simply Beautiful Décor that stole the show, and beautiful vintage plates and stemware. We also incorporated textures such as loose jewels and tassels. With the ceremony area we wanted to make a statement – we added an incredible floral arch by Billie Flower Co and beautiful cross back gold chairs. The bride had 3 enchanting dresses, 3 beautiful statement dresses by Monique Lhuillier from White Toronto. Each guest was gifted a mini box of macaron by Ladurée.
